Members of the Electronics Laboratory have participated in various European and national projects. Some of them are listed below:
- June 2005 – May 2008: “Development of a Remote Sensing Data Processing System for Automatic Detection and Classification of Regions with Environmental degradations”, project undertaken by University of Patras, Greek General Secretariat of Research and Technology.
- December 2005 – December 2007: “Satellite Data Processing Algorithms for Environmental Degradations”, project undertaken by University of Patras, British Council and Greek General Secretariat of Research and Technology.
- May 2005 – May 2007: “Flood Plain Disaster Rapid Mapping and Monitoring”, Partners in Dragon Project, ESA and China Cooperation.
- October 2003 – November 2005: “Development of a Wed-based network for exhibiting new image-processing capabilities for earth observation on ESA data”, project undertaken by University of Patras, National Technical University of Athens and AUG Signals Ltd (Canada) for the Category 1 program of the European Space Agency (ESA).
- March 2004 – September 2004. Participation at the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing, University of Surrey, UK for the project “Reverse engineering human vision system” under the supervision of Prof. Maria Petrou, funded by the Electronics and Physical Sciences Research Council, (EPSRC), UK.
- November 2003 – October 2005: “Application service providing using GRID technologies”, project undertaken by University of Patras, Business Logic LtD, for the Greek Secretariat of Research and Technology, Greece.
- November 2002 – May 2005: “Herakleitos: Data fusion of remote sensed imagery – Application to multispectral, hyperspectral and SAR data”, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), Operational Program for Educational and Vocational Training II (EPEAEK II).
